Video card for a new PC?

Since the question was already answered on the processor (I'll probably go
with the E4300 or E6600)... what about the video?

512MB on vide board, not shared? Or is this only for Aero? I'm going to be
doing a lot of heavy Photoshop work in Photoshop CS2, and probably upgrade
to CS3 when it comes out. I'm guessing 256MB with aero disabled would be
fine, but will I regret it later? On the other hand, if the 512MB video card
is $1000 now and might be only $300 next year, I can wait to upgrade. My
budget is about $1800. what is the latest video card slot spec? AGP 8x?

Ati is probably better for what you want to do...I have always been told
that Ati is better for video editing and such and Nvidia better for
games...Some will argue this....200.00 or less for a good Agp card is what
you are probably looking at..Since I am running Nvidia and have been for a
couple of years I really do not want to be more specific as someone else
would probably be better suited (ATI user)...Just my 2 cents...Have a great
