Hi all.
I have a bunch of tapes that I would like to get transfered to DVD, I
have a DVD burner (an old Pioneer A-04).
I have an ATI/RADEON all in wonder capture card running on windows xp
(Pentium 4, 2 GHz with 504 RAM)
I have 2 IDE hard drives (28.4 GB where the system is & 76.3 GB where
I drop all the captures) the drive speeds Im not sure about...I think
the 76.3 GB is around 7000 rps.
I've tried to do captures with Premiere but it drops a lot of frames.
I tried with Uleads Movie Factory and using the dvd requests it
captures with good quality but not smooth movement.
what's the best way to make captures from VHS tapes and what's the
recommended resolution for DVD authoring?
Also, I'd like to do some color correction on the captures since some
of the tapes have a lot of blue or red. is any software recomended for
this?
Thanks in advance for the advice. please post in here as well as
sending me a note on my private email.
