video cam compatible with windows 98

how do i install a video cam that is compatible with
windows 98 if i have windows xp.do i need to get 98 or can
i install soft ware that will make the camera compatible.
thank you for your help.
 
The web site of the camera manufacturer whould have a Windows XP-compatible
driver that you can download. :>)
