Hello

Is it possible to lubricate the VGA card fan? I was told
that one could remove the fan shaft (by applying pressure
to the fan blades) and lub the shaft and bearings with
high temp grease or WD 40. Does this work? Thanks

WD40 will dry to a stick mess, use a high temp synthetic oil
designed for such use. The synthetic gun oils work well.
But a new fan is cheap and has a guarantee. If you oil you
fan, you just became the mfg'r and the warranty is as good
as you are.

new fan!
