Very special URLs in memos not work

Hello,
today I notice a strange behavior, and I want to know the reason and
maybe a solution. (Outlook 2007, Vista Ultimate 32, IE 7.0)

When I use URLs like www.example.com, http://www.example.com or
whatever, it works without problem, a click on this links opens the
browser.
But not when I use a URL like http://user:[email protected]
first I get a message "MS Office has detect a security risk, the
storage place is maybe not safe... Proceed YES / NO ?"
After a click on YES I get "generic Error. The URL was
http://user:[email protected] . the system can't find this
file."

Some ideas?

Call support and show them the problem and get them to file it as a bug and
refund the call?
