...any reason for this?

Our internet connection is lightning fast at present, but FP2003 is showing
a 1k sec transfer rate?

Am I missing something ?

Thanks in advance...

Hi Tom,

Not sure how much to give right away. Sorry. Let me try to give the
basics:

New install of XP, with Office 2003 , Frontpage 2003. This client computer
is new, fast Dell. We have a very fast 3meg internet connection. Website
is hosted. Surf to site at present via IE almost instant load. Host uses
FP 2002 extensions. We've used host for 5 years. 100% up time.

Using FP2003 to "synchronize" the data between local and remote. Most data
flowing downstream to local client. Data rate between 1 and 3 k... Small
site, about 25 megs - very simple site too..

Previous version of FP (XP) and same site sync'd and published almost
instantly - even publishing entire site only took minutes.

What else can I tell you?

Thanks,

JS

1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files and IE Temp Files
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
3) Open FP and run Tools Recalculate Site, then try a File Publish Site (log in) and on Remote Site Properties check the 1st changes
option (also do at least 1 Publish all)
