Very Slow logins

I have detected that randomly some users get very slow
logons, we checked their mapped drives from viruses and
their local machines too, but seems to be it's not a
virus; we checked with ipconfig /all and the DNS adress
it's from our local DNS server; what else it could be?
this is randomly with a few users only.
