vertically centering text in a text box

Hi all, quick question. Other than using your eyes, is
there a way to vertically center text inside a text box?
I found horizontal, by using the formatting tool bar, but
can't find vertical. Thanks for any help.

You could try putting a one-cell table into the text box,
although for reasons I cannot quite explain I am uneasy
about that approach, as I think it could lead to
unexpected formatting curiosities. Antoher option is to
increase the text box borders (Format > Text Box, and
click the Text Box tab. My approach is to use paragraph
formatting (through trial and error), as it tends to be
more stable than other approaches. Even better is to
define a formatting style, especially if your text boxes
will be the same height.
