vertical type

New Excel

I am re-working a sheet designed by someone else. The
information in the top line is typed in vertically, but I
need it typed in horizontally. How do you change this?
When I retype information, it automatically converts to
Vertical print.
 
On the MenuBar, Format > Cells > Alignment Tab.

Is the degree setting other than zero?
