Vertical scrolling

When I attempt to scroll through an Excel document, the size of the cells
changes instead. I cannot seem to find the way to change this to a vertical
scroll from a resize.
 
hi,

This happens by design if the CTRL key is presse while scrolling. Is the key
stuck in on your keyboard?
