Vertical Scroll Includes Empty Cells

On one of my Excel spreadsheets, all of the empty cells
are being included in the vertical scroll (which
increases the document size immensely, making opening,
closing and saving an extremely tedious process).

How can I change the view so that only the cells
containing information was included in the vertical
scroll?
