Vertical alignment

Is it possible to have a label centre horizontal text vertically. That is,
I've got a label that's a regular horizontal text, but I need to have the
height of the label be 1 inch tall, and I'd like to have the type centred
vertically so that there's an equal amount of space above and below the line
of type.

The only way I see is to "fake it". Add spaces to the front of the text
until you get it down where you want it. Adjusting the Line Spacing property
on the Format tab of the Properties sheet may speed up this process.
