Hi,

I am wondering whether it is possible to have version control for multiple
users working on one document at the same time? (over a network) If anybody
can help me with this it would be much appriciated. I am guessing it would
involve some additional software if it is possible but have not bin able to
source anything.

Kind Regards,
Sean

Hi Sean,

It depends a bit on which version of Word :) So far, only one person at a
time per Word copy, but you can use MS Office Sharepoint 2007
http://office.microsoft.com/sharepoint
to check in/check out and maintain revision history/control of Word documents.

For combining documents from multiple authors you can use the collaboration and combine features of your Word version, which do vary
by version.
