Vcard problems when inserted and sent to Internet recipient

I found an artical that says this is a know problem with Ol 2000.
Does anyone know if this is a know problem in OL2003?
If so is there a fix? Other than outlined in the article?

That article is quite incomplete and therefore, somewhat misleading. The
easiest way to send contact information is indeed to send a vCard, as the
article suggests, but it's not the only way. You can also create a rich-text
message, check that the recipient is marked for rich-text, and then insert
the contact item as an attachment.
