VCALENDAR

Does anyone know where I can obtain information on VCALENDAR format and how
to trigger Outlook to automatically process?
Am thinking of using it to sync 2 remote calendars via email.

Sorry realised not much info.
Would like to try and use VCALENDAR to sync Outlook with a remote a set of
appointments on a SQL Server database.
Can email from SQL Server and if I can get Outlook to realise that it is an
appointment and not just an ordinary email.
Do you think VCALENDAR would do this?

The vCalendar and vCard standards are documented at http://www.imc.org/pdi/.
The code sample at http://www.outlookcode.com/codedetail.aspx?id=212 shows
how to open an .vcf file and have Outlook save it as a contact. The same
could be done for a .vcs or .ics file. If you send an actual vCalendar
message, you may have other options.
