VBA Reference Book

Looking to get a reference book for Access 2k3 (WROX), though I'm wondering
if a general Office 2k3 would be better if one is available? Other options??
Pros/Cons on general Office book vs. app specific???

I have a Excel 2k which is decent though I've been spending more time with
Access lately.

An application specific book usually give more specific and in depth
information. My favorite Access reference is Access 2002 Desktop Developer's
Handbook by Litwin, Getz, and Gunderloy. Dont' worry, there is little
difference between 2002 and 2003. It is published by Sybex. There is a
companion that is Access 2002 Enterprise Developer's Handbook. Both come
with a CD that has a lot of good code. You can find it on Amazon.com

You're in an Access programming group. Are you doing programming? If
so, I (and many other group members) would recommend the excellent
Access XX Developer's Handbook by Litwin, Getz, et al. I have the A97
set, and still use it for 2k3. The book is published by Sybex, and
Amazon has it.

Obviously an Access specific book will go into more depth than a
general Office book. Do you use the other apps? Do you need guidance
in those apps also? A general purpose book might be the way to go.
If your Excel book works, and you don't need to upgrade your other
Office skills, then a Access book would work.

Thanks to everyone for their replies.

As far as being a programmer I wouldn't consider myself one. I'm more of a
tourist, I know about it and some of it makes sense but I lack any serious
discipline to take it full on.

I'll take a look a the suggestions offered. Thank you again!!!
