VBA-Is it possible to interrupt open file command in PP2007?

Hi ,
Is it possible to interrupt open file command in PP2007 with an addin? I
want to do some file extension tests and run some code when users open a file

Use:

Private Sub App_PresentationOpen(ByVal Pres As Presentation)

It doesn't work in VBA PP2007.
