Eight statewide offices all run same version of the Access 2000 application.
Passwords are present for all and passed through VBA. Five of the eight
databases open no problem, the remaining three err out with error 3031 "Not a
valid Passsword". When I try to open manually any DB from the remaining three
that erred out using the same password that is in the code, it opens.
In summary if the password works manually and with 5 of the 8 db's using VBA
why does it blow up with the other 3 db's using VBA.
