NUnit rocks; it's free widely used and documented and very easy to get
going. can't speak to the other ones, but couldn't speak better of nunit.

Anders:

Everything, IMHO that comes from Rational is totally kick a55. They
definitely have some of the best minds in software working there right
now...but, it isn't cheap. For free, nUnit is a real piece of work but as
an opensource project, it definitely doesn't have all of the creature
comforts of Rational.

Have you used Rose by any chance? If the Lord himself uses a UML modeler,
it's definitely Rational's.

William,

tell me about it, worked for Ericsson with test and verification and got a
hint about the price tag, BIG Price!
But I had great experiance of the Rational Suite Enterprise versions between
2000.xx ->2003.06.00
From planing my tests till the actual execution, both manual and automatic
tests.

Kind of interresting that open source is beginning to show up in the
frontline of software testing aswell.
True that NUnit isn't ready for the competition with Rational /IBM but
you'll never know in the future (think Linux 5 years ago and today).
It might do the trick for some testing. From my point of view, nothing is
flawless.

If you, Mark, is a newbe in testing I suggest you look at NUnit and other
freeware. Also that you attend some test seminars near you hometown.
