vb.net license question

I have a licensing question about Visual Studio.net 2005 professional
version. I would like to know if 'sql server for the developer's' edition is
included in the Visual Studio.net 2005 professional version? If not, what is
the price to obtain the
' sql server for the developer's' edition' that I can run on my own
workstation?
I am asking that question since I work in a small company and they do not
have a 'test' sql server for me to work with. Thus I would like to be able to
step through sql server 2005 code on my own workstation.

Depending on the features you need, you could use the Express edition which
is free.

Otherwise Developer Edition is 49.99USD:

You can order right from the web page.

Or if the company you work for is extremely cheap, you could use the Trial
version instead ;-)

"Spam Catcher" :

Can you tell me if the SQL Server Developer's edition is included visual
studio.net 2005 Professional version? I went to the Heartland developer's
conference for .net users on Thursday and friday last week. They thought the
sql server developer license may in included in the professional version of
Visual Studio.net.

Thus if the developer's version is included why should this company pay for
another license. i just want to be able to step through sql server 2005 code.

Thanks,

SQL Server Express is included with VS2005. SQL Server Developer's
Edition is a separate product.
