2002 version 7.0.9966 - Framework version 1.0

From the Control panel I have Framework 1.1 installed - why this difference
?

VS.NET 2002 only works with .NET Framework 1.0, even if .NET Framework
1.1 is installed. You cannot build .NET 1.1 applications using VS.NET
2002. This can be done with VS.NET 2003.
