Variable text by option buttons

I would like to have a pair of option buttons at the top of a document where
users select one or the other. Depending on the selection, a variable text
should be displayed.

I have seen the example by Greg Maxey where text can be shown or hidden when
double clicking an icon. However, rather than simply show or hide, I want to
display one or the other.
