Vanishing pictures

D

Don Widdoes

I have several Powerpoint presentations made with powerpoint from MS
Works. I am now using Powerpoint from Office 2000. Some of the
pictures have vanished and are replaced with a BIG RED X. I can't find
any documentation describing this problem. I have looked and made sure
the picture jpg files are on the hard disk in the location they were
when the presentation was created.

One thing is that the presentation plays fine until it has been changed
or edited, that's when the problem arises. Also, not all of the
pictures are replaced. Maybe out of 60 or 70 pictures, only 8 or 10 get
the X.

Any ideas, Anybody??

Thanks,

Don

I would suggest starting with the ideas in this entry from Steve Rindsberg's

I used to have the problem when I used very old clip art - i.e. clip art
made 10 years ago or so.
