#VALUE!

Using Excel 2000. There are several worksheets in this workbook. On the
'Summary' tab I have this formula in a cell:

=ROUND(IF(MAR!J3="","",MAR!J3),0), which is yielding #VALUE!

On the 'MAR' tab, in cell J3 (which the formula above refers to), there is
this formula:

=IF(COUNT(S43:S601)=0,"",AVERAGE(S43:S601)), which yields nothing because
there's nothing yet in S43:S601.

Why is the first formula yielding #VALUE! ? I want the cell to be blank
since there's nothing in cell J3 on the 'MAR' worksheet.

Hi Connie

would re-writing your formula as
=IF(Mar!J13="","",Round(Mar!J3,0))
solve the problem?
