#VALUE! when updating links

When I open a file and chooses to update links, I get the #VALUE! for
links to a spesific file (the rest of the links update OK). Then I
have to open and close the file where the links points to get rid of
#VALUE!. Does this have to do with which vertions of excel the
different files last were saved in? Do anyone have a solution around
this?

Just found out similar questions have been answerd earlier. The Sumif
does not work on closed workbooks, only Sumproduct. Will spend a bit
more time seaching the groups before posting next time :)
