Hello, I'm using Access for the first time, so please be patient with me.


Basically, I would like to know where to key in SQL codes for table
constraints, or if anyone could teach me how to do it the "Access way", it
would be great.

For example, there are 2 tables, A and B.

I'd like to know how to check if B.Name exists in A.Name, and only allow a
new entry if A.Name exists.

Use the Relationships window (Tools menu.)

Create a relation between A.Name (primary table) and B.Name (related table.)
In the Create Relation dialog, check the box for Referential Integrity.
