vaio Platform

I keep getting a error when I boot up. I have been trying to correct the
problem by downloading 2.5 platform update. but when I download it. I get an
error that says.

VAIO Platform 2.5 Update Utility could not find a privious version of VAIO
Platform 2.5 to update.

How do I resolve this problem

So do you have a previous version of VAIO Platform 2.5 Update Utility
installed? Have you contacted Sony technical support with your problem or
checked the VAIO website for solutions?
