V500 and Vuescan , ICE setup

Hi,

I just bought a V500 and I don't see any difference with/without ICE
for avoiding dust , with vuescan.
With ICE I get a lot of artefact.
Setup is bits/pixel auto - infrared cleaner highest - 8.5.38 vuescan

What type of film are you scanning? FWIW, ICE does not work on traditional

b/w film and some versions of Kodachrome.

It is traditionnal B&W film (HP5+)
Is it normal it works with antidust filter?
