I have a pc w/XP Pro on it. I would like ot sched. defrag, cleanup & b/u for
times when the pc is idle.
I use no password to log on yet it seems I need to crate one to do these
tasks. When I try to create 1
it tells me I don't have authority. I am the Only user of this pc. Is there
a way to sched. tasks w/o a password?

Have you tried putting schedule a task in your built in Windows Help system?
Are those things not what you want?- in which case please explain more
fully.
