UT 2004 Taxes the CPU less than Q3

Anyone notice playing Unrealtournament the CPU does not get as hot or cycled
as Quake3??

More utilisation of Graphics card processing, better optimisation generally?
Interesting if its true though.

Hey maybe we'll be playing games in 2020 on 286's ... with 5 GHz 1GB QDR
graphics cards? ;o)

Well these cards keep getting more and more powerful I would say why not :)
Look at the 9800XT or 5900ultras with 256mb of ram, that was a lot of ram
for a whole pc a few years ago. and the 5900 has huge heatsinks, just like a
P4. Maybe the new games use the T&L etc.. features.
