Hi!
Worried About Dust & Other Debris In Your Printer?

Yes, and it was really bugging me, too! How did you ever find out? (Silly
question. These newfangled confusers are just amazing things.) I was so
tired of dusting off my printer every day that I finally dumped a bunch of
feathers out of a pillow into it. Now it makes a funny noise when I print
and it might have been smoking last night, but at least now I know that the
printer has plenty of dust and debris inside it!

If only you folks had come along sooner, I might have chosen the cleaner
option.

(Sorry, I have a rather warped sense of humor. I thought it was funny. :) )

Those of you old enough can remember when people used to put plastic
seat covers over their new car seats to protect the cloth for the next
owner. The covers were high quality, but totally unnecessary. It was
merely a sales gimmick. I think these printer dust covers are the same
thing. Who needs it? Printers are not like typewriters were. All the
printers have their own covers as part of the case.

Al - re: plastic automobile seat covers. In the "olden days" when almost
all cars came with fabric seats and your small children were eating and
drinking all sorts of stain producing foods while they were in the back seat
they provided a cleanable surface so your car wouldn't end up looking and
smelling like the floor of the grammer school lunch room! Unfortunately,
they were very uncomfortable to sit on. I only had them on one car - the
one we used for camping trips while the kids were very young. For a car
that only adults will be using it made little sense. In addition, most cars
can be purchased now with leather as an upgrade - cleanable and more durable
than fabric.
