Usng Docmd.transfertext - I get entire file imported into 1 field

Using the docmd.transfertext method to import data, I get the entire file
imported into 1 field. It's a tab delimited file, it has row headings. When
I use the import wizard - it recognizes the tabs. I'm using access 2007 but
the database format is 2003-2003. Could there be a reference that I'm
missing or something? Thanks.

Di it manually once, and note the name of the import specification
cerated by the wizard. Then, use that import specification name in the
pertinent argument of the TransferText command.

Yes, this was my solution, but I had found it at another post/thread. What I
really needed to do is to give the import specification file a specific name
because I needed to import more than one spreadsheet. Oh, and for others
reading this: You have to click on the Advanced Button during the manual
(wizard) import to assign the name of a specification file and make sure that
the row headings are what you want them to be.
