Halo All.

I am in the process of setting up USMT. I have to exclude all mp3
files from the migration. The default USMT setup copies all files
located on the desktop it looks.

I have added mp3 extension to the [EXT.Exclude] section in
"Migwiz.inf" but its still copying mp3's if they are on the user's
desktop. (Works if the mp3 files are located anywhere else)

I have also added the mp3 extension to my [Delfiles] section, still no
luck.

Can anyone point me in the right direction. I need to exclude mp3's
from the migration if they are on the user's desktop.

Many Thanks

Derek

Hello Derek,

Thank you for posting here.

Any LNK or shortcuts copied will have their associated mp3 files uploaded.
To prevent this I suggest that you remove all these shortcuts file to test
the situation.
