Thank you for posting here.
Any LNK or shortcuts copied will have their associated mp3 files uploaded.
To prevent this I suggest that you remove all these shortcuts file to test
the situation.

| I am in the process of setting up USMT. I have to exclude all mp3
| files from the migration. The default USMT setup copies all files
| located on the desktop it looks.

| I have added mp3 extension to the [EXT.Exclude] section in
| "Migwiz.inf" but its still copying mp3's if they are on the user's
| desktop. (Works if the mp3 files are located anywhere else)

| I have also added the mp3 extension to my [Delfiles] section, still no
| luck.
