I think a lot of people are missing the problem here. For one I deal
with a lot of very complex software and anlysis / trending software. Some of
the files I use can be huge and some of the applications I run would kill a
normal PC or laptop. In the past I've used a laptop to keep things portable
but it's just not possible to keep upgrading my laptops all the time to stay
on top of the speed curve. It's actually more of an issue of trying to setup
a new laptop everytime I buy a new one, it can take weeks to make sure all
of the proper files and configurations are copied exactly.
I was in principle wondering if it was jsut possible to car the "brain"
of my PC from work to home and continue on with my work. Remote assistance
would not work in this instance
