Using WSS 2.0 with Outlook 2007 Beta

I'm trying to import contacts from an Outlook 2007 Beta address book into a
Windows Sharepoint Services contact list, but I keep getting the following
error message:

"To import contacts, you must have and Address Book compatible with Windows
Sharepoint Services and you must have Internet Explorer 5.0 or greater."

Does WSS 2.0 not recognize the Outlook 2007 address book? I didn't have any
issues with Outlook 2003. Please advise.

Thanks!

That's correct. The functions in WSS 2.0 that call for address book use will not work with Outlook 2007. You'll need to use Outlook 2003 instead.

Ok. I assume Sharepoint 2007 will be compatible with Outlook 2007 in terms
of this functionality?

Thanks.

Yes.

I've tried this in a VPC with MOSS 2007 and Office 2007, and get the exact
error message.

Well, I've got the exact same error message when I try to import contacts in
MOSS 2007/WSS 3. Is this fixed in TR for MOSS/WSS!?
