Using Workgroups in a Pier to Pier network

I am helping a friend setup an Outlook solution in a pier-pier environment... I haven't done this in years... only Exchange environments.

Can Workgroup environments
- have shared calendars for all members of the group
- have public folders
- contain Excel documents in a shared or public folder
- have custom forms in a shared or public folder that each user could use to enter and edit data stored in that folder

Any good web-based resource you can point me to?

No sharing is possible in a non-Exchange environment so all the other
questions are answered "No" as well. For other optons see;

Jolly good for spellcheckers....it's PEER to PEER - pier is something
that holds a bridge up......

Yes certainly that can be done. You just need to make sure that all the
members of the Workgroup can access the particular folder that you
designate as the shared data source.
