Using whiteboard and application sharing. Nothing happens

I am trying to use application sharing but when my buddy accepts nothing
happens. nothing at all

I am using Version 4.7

please help me
 
Are you both behind a firewall or routers? If it is a home network make
sure you have UPnP on the router turned on.
