Using Triggers

While using multiple triggers on a slide; the trigger is use to click on a
photo and some text appears. My question is when trigger #1 is selected and
text comes up how can I make the text disappear when I click on trigger #2.
I have to click on trigger #1 again before the text will disappear.

I'd like to go right down the triggers and have the text from the previous
trigger disappear on the mouse click of the next trigger.

I do have the setting for the text set as “hide on next mouse click†but the
only mouse click it recognizes is when I click on it’s own trigger.

Instead of setting the same object to trigger both animations, have the exit
animation clicked by a trigger of the text box itself. For example:
Click Picture 1, Text 1 appears
Click Text 1, Text 1 disappears
Click Picture 2, Text 2 appears
Click Text 2, Text 2 disappears
and so on....

If you want to speed it up even further, you can set both the exit of Text 1
and the entrance of Text 2 to happen both on the click of Text 1. (TO do
this, set up the trigger for text 1's exit and then drag the entrance for
text 2 to right after it in the list.)

Lets say you have two button. Add appear effect on text, then set the trigger
on the first button. Add another disappear effect on text, then set the
trigger on the second button.

You can also add appear effect on button 2, then set the trigger on the
button 1. This means that button 2 will only appear when you click on button
1.
Next, add disappear effect on button 1, then set the trigger on button 1.
This means that button 1 will disappear when you click on it. The reverse for
clicking on button 2 is similar to the above steps.

Hope I don't sound too confusing.
