Using the same outlook account and email on two machines

I'd like to be able to access on my laptop, the same email that I access on
my desktop at work.
I use two email addresses that go through Outlook.
I'd like to be able to go home and go into Outlook and be able to access the
very same things that I access in Outlook through my computer at work.
Help?

What type(s) of accounts? What version(s) of Outlook?
