Using the Migration Wizard

Microsoft instructions say to make a serial to serial connection, but
my new computer has no serial port. Can I make a USB to USB connection
or get an adaptor to connect a serial cable to my new computer?
 
You can also put it on a CD or across the network. You can put the file it
creates on a USB flash drive as well.
