Using =sum to add values of vlookup formula

L

loscherland

When i use =SUM(D2:E2) it returns 0
When i use =D2+E2 it returns #VALUE!
When i use =SUM(D2+E2( it returns #VALUE!
When i use =(VLOOKUP(B2,'Mont
1'!$C$3:$F$28,4,FALSE))+(VLOOKUP(B2,'Month 2'!$C$3:$F$28,4,FALSE)) i
returns #VALUE!

When I change the VLOOKUP formula's to =--VLOOKUP, they return #VALUE!

I changed the format of the data the tables for Month 1 & Month 2 t
numeric but it didn't make any difference

Hi
changing the format won't help. Your data is NOT numeric. You may really
check your source data. Maybe invisible charaters, etc.
