I have a curious observation which is puzzling me. I
received an email with several animations. The
animations were working and looked great, but when I
right-clicked them and selected the SaveAs option, I
could only save the them as BMP files that seemed to
contain only the first frame of the animation. The
person creating the email had inserted animated GIF files
in her email. She sent me the GIF files as attachments in
another email and they arrived unaltered. My Mail client
is Outlook 2002. I ran a test, and in AOL I can right-
click the animation in an email, select SaveAs and save
it as a GIF file. Any insight into this mystery would be
most appreciated.
Thanks Bernie
