Using RIS across networks

Can imaging with RIS be done across networks? If so can
someone point me in the right direction on how this is
done. Example RIS is on the 10.225.50.x network and the
clients will reside on the 10.225.60.x network.

We RIS across subnets with no problem. You must have the RIS server added
as a helper (dhcp relay) in addition to the dhcp server address. Port 4011
should be open on your routers between clients and the RIS server.

Also - watch for spanning tree, you may be able to just pause RIS clients
for 15 seconds or you may need to set ST timeout to a longer period.
