Thanks for your replys , sure do appreciate them.
A novice user is a expert compared to myself. In the past i have been
deleting any related stuff when i uninstall anything (games , drivers ,
utilitys and such) i just have never uninstalled a windows componet , so i
guess the answer is no?

thanks again

You could do that, but it's not really recommended for a novice. If you
decide to do it, be certain you have your backups up to date and do a backup
of the System State or at least create a new Restore Point first. That way
you can get your registry back if something goes astray.
Since you used the Add/Remove feature, at least the important things have
been removed from the registry. What's left over isn't going to hurt
anything in any way so the best advice would be to ignore it unless you're
interested in learning new things <g>, which isn't all bad.

Why? (registry thing)
Cuz playing with the Registry is like playing with fire; one can easily get
burned, in this case, wind up with a snooked computer. Unless you
ABSOLUTELY know what you are removing is what you want to remove, best leave
that "sleeping dog lie".

I don't see where you would gain anything by it. How come you removed
pinball, just curious?

As an aside, there is no need, in general, to go through the registry and
remove remnants of uninstalled programs. Unused entries, don't normally
cause problems. Now some programs such as the Norton Home Security products
like NAV and NIS are so invasive, that their remaining entries in the
registry do cause problems. In that case one does need to ferret them out.
But unless a program is of this ilk, just let the uninstaller do it's think
and don't worry about residuals in the registry unless there is a problem.

Lastly, don't ever use a registry cleaner. These generally cause more
problems than they fix.
