Using Powerpoint with a CD

Hi Rosie,

The presentations should run off CD if you save it to them properly.
However, could you consider using the PowerPoint viewer and putting on CD?
The viewer runs the animations much better than jerky old html.

Please tell us your PowerPoint version,
whether you are using vba,
whether your dog has fleas, or
anything else relevant.

Before I start struggling to learn the finer points of Powerpoint - can
anyone please tell me whether you have to be online to use Powerpoint
Producer. I want to make video presentations to various senior citizens
clubs using Powerpoint. I know I can save the videos to CD - but do I have
to be online to present them. If so, the whole point of the exercise is
useless!

Hi,

By the way, either solution will mean you need to make sure you put all
material on CD, especially the videos.

Hi Glen - thanks for the fast response. Great news that I don't need to be
online. I want to have controls at the bottom of the video, as these are
going to be training CD's, to go forward back pause etc., Are these available
in the Powerpoint Viewer Or do I need to use something else?

2003 not too sure what vba is!
