Using Outlook to Access Web Mail?

I have a client who's company currently uses Outlook Web Access for their
mail. Is it possible to use Outlook 2003 instead? The lack of formatting and
message rules makes it hard to manage the volume they're receiving. If so,
how would I configure Outlook?

When connected to Exchange 2003 your mail administrator can configure RPC
over HTTP. Otherwise a VPN connection is required.
