using numbering when tracking changes

I have a document that I used track changes to; the document had numbered
text, which I moved several of the numbered paragraphs to different locations
in the document. When I accept changes, it does not renumber; thereby
causing me to have to go thru and redo the numbering feauture so that it is
in order.

Is there a way to do this without having to manually renumber?

I think that numbering will not automatically update when in Track Changes
mode.
So when you say you "accept the changes" are you deactivating the TC mode as
well?
How are you creating the numbering? Outline/Seq fields?
