Hi all.

I woud like to use NET SEND to send a message across the network to
provide users with information.

When I send a message using netsend it gives the computer name that
sent the message. For example if computer 1 wants to send a message to
computer 2 then it will say Message from Computer 1 to Computer 2. Is
there anyway of stopping it from providing the computer name or
changing it so it shows the user name instead.

Any help in this matter would be highly appreciated.

Thank you

I don't think that this is possible with "net send". You could, of
course, change the computer name to match your own name.
Alternatively one of these tools might meet your requirements.
I haven't tested any of them - they were recently mentioned in a
similar post.
