using .NET Framework 1.1 in Visual Studio .Net 2002

I have Visual Studio .Net version 2002. Is there any
way to get it to use the version 1.1 Framework? I've
installed the .NET Framework 1.1 redistributable and also
the SDK. I thought maybe if I uninstalled Framework 1.0
Studio would go to the new one. But that was a big
mistake! It won't open a project at all because it can't
find the Framework. So now I'm having to reinstall Visual
Studio. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Stan
