Using MS HTML Help Workshop for an Access 2003 application

Hi

I'm not at all sure if this is the correct place for this question but I'm
ready to take a chance ...

I'm developing a pretty large Access 2003 application which has beern
running for almost 10 years (previously under Access 97). For the old
application I wrote a User's Manual as a simple Word document. Now I would
like to somehow integrate this Manual as a Help file into the application
itself making it easily available from within the application.

I've been lead to believe that MS HTML Help Workshop is the utility to use
for this but I could use some simple and good advice on how to get started.
I'm not much of a HTML programmer so I'm hoping there is a way of doing this
without having to become an HTML expert. I simply don't have the time for
this. Easy import of the present text and simple formatting of it and an easy
way of connecting the help file content with different forms and reports (and
possibly controls) in the application would of course be nice. Right now I
just seem to be confused by reading what I find about this utility ...

Can anyone help?

Ok. Thanks. I'll take a better look at those links tomorrow.

But can you (or anyone else) just give me a hint. Will I be able without a
reasonable amount of work, without becoming a HTML expert, to somehow import
my text divided into chapters or whatever, work with the text, expand it,
split it etc and come out with a working Help file with one weeks work rather
than one month work? Is it possible to say? My problem is that I need to
decide which way to go really soon since my employer doesn't seem to be
willing to pay for several weeks work just to get an integrated Help file. If
you see what I mean ... The users want it but they don't get to decide ...
